Biking North Table Mt

 Ingrid is training for the White Rim trail near Moab.  So she invited me along with an old college friend to ride.  Of course I was the first one to get a flat...  and just as we hit pavement...

 It turned out we were a little off course and had to do a bit of 'hike a bike' to get back on track.

 But finally at the top.

The trail was nice, forgive me for not texting (pictures) while riding.  Fun times for everyone.

Camping in Steamboat

 We got there just in time for the rain!  Thanks Jay for having the camper awning available!

 Jay and Ingrid were running a little late, but we got the fire started!  Its gas, so maybe he was cooking bacon?

Spirit of flight

The Spirit of flight puts on fly in gatherings, but this event is their primary fundraising event for the year.

It was a hot day, so I got there early and started with the cars.

Then finally there were planes.  This is a jet flying over.

The museum has stories posted complete, and small pieces of very interesting things.

Everyone needs a flight suit.

Skiing 4th of July

Well a friend of ours (Scotty) was very persistent and extremely generous about getting us out to Mammoth for the 4th of July skiing.

 I arrived a few hours before Karyn and was able to find Scotty's Van/key, shop and of course a light dinner.

I had time to mount skis since I was taking the boots.

 As usual some discussion about skis in the camping area.

 If only I could find the May 2004 picture of us in front of this sign when the snow level was 1-2 feet below the directional portion!

 Look who we ran into!  He was cursing himself a little about forgetting his Monoski before the trip.  I met his dad a few years back at Heavenly with the Comet Katz...   (Glen Plake)

 You have to air out the ski boots somehow!
