Mike invited us for a visit. We had a great day skiing warm conditions at Snowmass on Saturday.
Sunday we headed up for a great hike! Some much needed training for the Haute Route coming up in April. We put our skins on and started hiking at 7:30. They kick you off the mountain when the lifts start running so our time was limited.
The hike was ~2500 vertical in ~2.5 miles. Pretty steep and tiring. I made it in 1:45, the patrol stopped to check on me just before I got there, but he let me pass...
