Out for a Ride

Well I was working again this weekend...  But I did get a ride in over lunch break.  25.02 miles, 1:32 ride time.

A quick stop at the Vet for Jaspurr's pills.

Another A-Basin Beach party!

It was warm and beautiful yesterday so we headed to A-Basin to meet Chris and Sarah for their friend's beach party!

Nothing like fresh pow on closing day!

Karyn came up with me, and I skied closing day at Copper for a few hours in 8" of fresh snow.  Always a pow day in April, but I wasn't sure we'd be keeping up with tradition.

We headed over to Vail after to watch the pond skimming.  The sun was out and it was much warmer.  I got a few turns in before the start of the skim, but Karyn has most of the pix.  I took some video, I'll try to get that posted.

Got in a ride while visiting Orange County

I started out at the hotel near John Wayne, and rode to Newport Beach.

About 20 miles.  I started at 6 am, and watched the sun rise over the back bay.

Haven't heard much about the house in a while, huh?

Well.... tomorrow I will be taking the FIRST shower in our downstairs master bathroom after FIVE years. Don't worry, it hasn't gone unused - just baths and no showers.

We were in a hurry and the DIY grout job just hasn't been able to be repaired so we hired a company to come out and remove the white grout and install new grout (not white) and seal the grout. With tub to ceiling tiles we were really, really afraid of the cost and time involved. They did a fantastic job and I will finally be able to put a plant or a small child on the spot behind the tub - which is as large as it is so that we didn't lose the window and light!

yay! It's going to be awesome!
