Saturday morning Loveland pass was closed. That allowed us to enjoy 11" of fresh snow at Arapahoe basin for the morning. I skied only the Exhibition chair, all the others had long lines, and poor visibility.
With an afternoon training session I lifted weights while Karyn put in her 5.5 miles of running in prep for her 1/2 iron-man triathlon at the Silverthorne rec center.
Saturday night we had tickets to dinner at the Black Mountain Lodge mid mountain at Arapahoe Basin. Fun was had by all: eating French cuisine. Last but not least, we snowshoed down from the lodge.
A beach party... At A-Basin... This isn't just any beach party!!! We have the fun box!
Phyllis has hosted Zany Sunday at the beach of a-basin for 25 years, always the first Sunday in April. This year it happened on Easter Sunday. We had a lot of fun as always...

What else can you do but have some fun! I brought out some oldies but goodies... Uncle Lawson's boots, Ed's old skis. I met a fella teleing with leather boots one time... He said to me "Once by friends can keep up with me, I'll look at plastic boots." This wasn't as easy as it looked...
